The IWAH course is my first encounter with wildlife medicine, and I have longed for this experience. I am very excited to be on the course and the first few days have been quite interesting; I sighted some big mammals like the sambar deer, spotted deer, langur, macaques, and so on. I also got to see some interesting Indian birds. The lectures have been engaging and packed with lots of information. The tutors are very experienced, and I look forward to learning the veterinary aspects. At the end of the day, I hope to become the wildlife veterinarian I have always wanted to be.
