Day 7 was very memorable as we studied the pathological examination of wildlife as an exercise to study disease outbreaks. A complete field standard operation procedure (SOP), of pathological examination was taught by Dr Tony Sainsbury in a comprehensive and detailed way. Biosecurity measures were taken into consideration. Tissue samples were taken for histopathological examination for confirmatory diagnosis. All the necessary information regarding the PM was recorded on a data sheet provided for the session.
In the afternoon session, Dr Neil Anderson taught us how to use QGIS. It was very informative and unique.
